CLONE WARS TIMELINE <<< Go to: Month 1 (13:6) | Go to: Month 3 (13:8) >>>
Source: Clone Wars Micro-Series - Chapter 6, 7 Author(s): Cartoon Network, produced by Genndy Tartakovsky Publication Date: November 2003 Count Dooku seeks a new ally with the power to defeat the Jedi. On the planet Rattatak, he encounters a mysterious fighter who dominates every opponent in the combat ring. She introduces herself to him as Asajj Ventress, a Sith warrior. After denouncing her claims to be a Sith, Dooku challenges Asajj in combat and defeats her. But he is so impressed with her skills that he gives her an important assignment - to assassinate Anakin Skywalker. *Note: The official placement for these episodes is "mere weeks" after the Battle of Geonosis. This vague term could be anything from 2 weeks to several weeks. For the sake of this timeline, I have it in Month 2 because I believe it takes place 6 weeks after the Battle of Geonosis. My reasoning is that Dooku would wait to recruit Asajj until after the death of Sev'rance Tann. However, Leland Chee said that, "Her discovery has nothing to do with the demise of Sev'Rance Tann or any of Dooku's other minions." I'm still going to keep it here for now, but anyone is welcome to interpret "mere weeks" however they want. Check out the Mission to Rattatak for more info.
Source: Boba Fett #3: Maze of Deception Author(s): Elizabeth Hand Publication Date: March 2003 Young Fett may be alone in the galaxy, but he has two important assets: he is the heir to a fortune belonging to Jango Fett, and he alone knows the secret of Count Dooku's double-identity. Now, Fett must navigate the labyrinthine interiors of Aargau's largest banking centers to claim what is rightfully his, while avoiding double-crosses, hardened security, and a vengeful Aurra Sing. Check out the Occupation of Aargau for more info. Starwars.com Updates Source: Boba Fett #4: Hunted Author(s): Elizabeth Hand Publication Date: October 2003 Young Boba Fett is alone on Tatooine, surrounded by criminals, mercenaries and thieves. He is determined to follow in his late father's footsteps and become the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. To do so, he must find the greatest crime lord of all: Jabba the Hutt. The mighty Hutt isn't easily impressed. When Boba tracks down the gangster, Jabba has an offer for the young boy: one assignment, one chance. He must capture a deadly bounty... or else. Check out Boba's Mission to Tatooine for more info. Starwars.com Updates
Source: Star Wars Tales #14: Tides of Terror Author(s): Milton Freewater, Jr., Adriana Melo, and Fabio Laguna, cover by Pat Lee Publication Date: December 2002 Timeline note: This item is placed here because it was probably a preliminary strike to find out how strong Kamino's defenses were. Also, the Separatists likely planned to eliminate as many clone troopers before they made their final attack on Kamino that occurred shortly thereafter as seen in REPUBLIC #50. A biological saboteur has tainted the sterile labs of the Kamino cloning facilities. Jedi Generals Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura investigate this deadly threat to the Republic's clone army. Check out the First Battle of Kamino for more info.
Source: Republic #50: The Defense of Kamino in Clone Wars I: The Defense of Kamino Author(s): John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons, Haden Blackman, Stephen Thompson, Ray Kryssing, Scott Allie, and Tomas Giorello Publication Date: January 2003 It is two months since the Clone Wars began on Geonosis. After a series of indecisive skirmishes, the Separatists rally for a bold charge against the cloning facilities on Kamino, the source of the Republic's army. To defend this vital asset, the Republic has dispatched a squadron of Jedi Starfighters and a battalion of Clone Troopers under the command of the Jedi. The result is a battle that blazes through space, through the cities, and through the crashing waves of Kamino. Check out the Second Battle of Kamino for more info. <<< Go to: Month 1 (13:6) | Go to: Month 3 (13:8) >>>
