CLONE WARS TIMELINE <<< Go to: Month 15 (14:8) | Go to: Month 17 (14:10) >>>
Source: Republic #56: Stormchasers in Clone Wars III: The Last Stand on Jabiim Author(s): Haden Blackman and Brian Ching, cover by Kev Walker Publication Date: July 30, 2003 Obi-Wan Kenobi is MIA, presumed dead. When his master is killed in a battle with Jabiimi rebels, Anakin Skywalker finds himself assigned to a squad of similarly "orphaned" Padawans. The non-stop rain and violent storms on Jabiim suit Anakin's mood of despair punctuated with rage. Some of the other Padawans feel the same way. Whether they're aware of it or not, they all have chips on their shoulders and are looking for either revenge...or a way to follow their dead masters in death. When a routine re-supply mission turns into a life or death fight, Anakin is faced with a choice: either set his feelings aside and follow his training, or give into his anger and use the power of the dark side! Check out the Battle of Jabiim for more info. Source: Republic #57: Lightening Rods in Clone Wars III: The Last Stand on Jabiim Author(s): Haden Blackman and Brian Ching, cover by Tomas Giorello Publication Date: August 2003 On the rain-drenched world of Jabiim, a major and messy conflict of the Clone Wars continues. Anakin Skywalker fights alongside the "Padawan Pack," a group of "orphaned" apprentices that have banded together in the war. The Chosen One is ordered to a rear echelon position as the young Padawans must hold an indefensible bulwark against the overwhelming Separatist forces. Check out the Battle of Jabiim for more info. Source: Republic #58: Floodgates in Clone Wars III: The Last Stand on Jabiim Author(s): Haden Blackman and Brian Ching, cover by Tomas Giorello Publication Date: October 2003 The planet Jabiim is falling to the Separatists, and the final command rests on the shoulder's of Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan is missing in action, and all of Anakin's fellow Jedi are dead. The honorable thing to do would be to fight to the last man-or clone-alongside the loyalist Jabiimi. The smart thing would be to live to fight another day, save as many of his remaining troops as possible and retreat. Will Anakin listen to his heart or his head? Should he die a hero, or survive to become a general? And which decision is the right one? Is there a "right" choice? Check out the Battle of Jabiim, Battle of Metalorn and the Mission to New Holstice for more info.
Source: Republic #59: Enemy Lines in Clone Wars III: The Last Stand on Jabiim Author(s): John Ostrander, Jan Duursema and Dan Parsons, cover by Andy Brase Publication Date: January 2004 In the aftermath of a battle on the desert moon of Aargonar, Anakin Skywalker finds himself stranded behind enemy lines with the last person in the galaxy that he wants to be with -- fellow Jedi A'Sharad Hett from a Tusken Raider clan on their native Tatooine. For Anakin, their struggle to make it back to the Republic's lines also becomes a test of whether he can control his hatred of the Tuskens, and whether or not he can keep the shameful secret of his murder of the Tusken tribe. Check out the Battle of Aargonar for more info. View a 5-page black and white preview of this comic at darkhorse.com. <<< Go to: Month 15 (14:8) | Go to: Month 17 (14:10) >>>
