April 30: Updated Comic Shipping Dates Randy Stradley gives an update at DHC's boards on scheduled release dates for upcoming Star Wars comics. Here's a list of the Clone Wars related stories:
April 30: More on Clone Wars Animated Series Premiere JediNet reports that there might be a 1-day delay in the debut of the Clone Wars cartoon in other countries. The series is still scheduled to debut in the US on November 7. They also note that the series will be dubbed in almost all countries, except Denmark. April 29: Zahn Clone Wars Short Story Trilogy Update Vic Wertz, associate editor for the Star Wars Insider, made some comments at TF.N's forums on the upcoming Timothy Zahn Clone Wars trilogy. As reported earlier, these stories will appear in Star Wars Insider #68-70. The trilogy will collectively be called HEROES OF CARTAO, with the first story to be titled HERO'S CALL. The trilogy takes place on a planet called Cartao, one year after the Battle of Geonosis. It features Kinman Doriana, a close advisor of Palpatine. Wertz mentions that the first chapter is more political, while the bulk of the action takes place in the second and third stories. He also notes that the trilogy will have subtle ties to Zahn's other upcoming novels and The Thrawn Trilogy. The art for the first story is being painted by Douglas Chaffee and each story averages about 10,000 words (30 paperback pages). Insider #68 ships to subscribers on May 16th and hits newsstands June 6th. Click here to subscribe to Star Wars Insider. April 28: New Site Design Launched! April 25: A'sharad Hett returns to STAR WARS: REPUBLIC Someone on the Dark Horse Comics message board asked if A'sharad Hett, a Tusken Raider Jedi, would be showing up soon in a STAR WARS comic. Randy Stradley's answer:
Since #59 is the aftermath of the Battle of Jabiim, I'm guessing it will be in #60!
