November 21, 2005: Revenge of the Sith and Dark Lord
The paperback edition of the Revenge of the Sith novelization by Matthew Stover was recently released and is available in stores. It includes a preview from James Luceno's novel Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader.
Tomorrow, Tuesday November 22, is the USA release date for Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, which begins literally in the final days of the Clone Wars--after Dooku has been killed and while Grievous is being hunted down. With Labyrinth of Evil, it bookends Revenge of the Sith (forming a loose trilogy) and will further chronicle the early days of Vader and the transformation from Republic to Empire. In fact, it's been available in the UK for a few weeks.

November 21, 2005: Clone Wars Volume II DVD press
Press release:
"HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (24th October 2005) -- Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi continue their action-filled quest to bring peace to a galaxy consumed by conflict when the Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: CLONE WARS Volume Two debuts on DVD (5th December 2005) from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Fox Home Entertainment.
The non-stop action of Star Wars: CLONE WARS Volume Two leads directly into the opening moments of the year's No. 1 box-office hit, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, revealing secrets and bringing new perspectives to the intense space battle that sets the movie in motion.
As the evil General Grievous gains power among the nefarious Separatist faction, the Jedi Knights find themselves faced with a growing threat and an expansion of the calamitous Clone Wars. Against this epic backdrop, Star Wars fans will discover fascinating answers to long-held questions: Exactly who, or what, is Grievous, and how did he develop his incessant cough? How does Anakin transform from a promising young Padawan learner to full Knighthood as a Jedi?
Most importantly for the shocking developments that form the climax of Revenge of the Sith, how do Anakin and Obi-Wan develop a bond as close as brothers -- one that will be shattered forever when they meet in their fateful lightsaber duel on Mustafar?
Originally seen on Cartoon Network, Star Wars: CLONE WARS Volume Two not only gives audiences near-continuous action, it completes the circle of the Star Wars saga by exploring the event-filled Clone Wars in stunning detail. Star Wars: CLONE WARS Volume Two ultimately leads to an all-out assault by Grievous on the galactic capital, Coruscant, and the kidnapping of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine ... who Anakin and Obi-Wan are sent to rescue during the first scenes of Revenge of the Sith.
The DVD release of Star Wars: CLONE WARS Volume Two includes a brand-new featurette, "Connecting the Dots," that takes audiences inside the creative process that series creator Genndy Tartakovsky and his team used to link the stories of Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith. An audio commentary by Tartakovsky and his band of artists is also included on the DVD, bringing even greater insight into the process of creating the Emmy-winning animated adventures.
There are also two full galleries of concept art, storyboards and sketches, plus trailers for the upcoming LucasArts video games Star Wars Battlefront II and Star Wars Empire at War, as well as a trailer for LEGO's Revenge of the Brick and the original theatrical trailer for Revenge of the Sith. The DVD also features an Xbox-playable demo offering two entire levels from Star Wars Battlefront II, which debuts from LucasArts on Nov. 1."

November 21, 2005: Republic Commando action figure confirmed; Talz Jedi rumored

What's more, the 2006 rumor list circulating around the collecting sites indicates the "Battle of Coruscant" wave will include a figure of Foul Moudama, the Talz Jedi seen protecting Chancellor Palpatine in Volume II of the toon series. Keep in mind that although that list has been mostly accurate thus far, this item has not been officially confirmed yet.

These are a pretty big deal because Hasbro very rarely makes figures based on the Expanded Universe. Stay tuned for updates on these items.
