January 24, 2005: TUCWS is 2 years old!
The Unofficial Clone Wars Site is 2 years old today and we have some special announcements to make!
To the readers of The Unofficial Clone Wars Site:
It has been 2 years since Paul Myers first started The Unofficial Clone Wars Site as only a short timeline. It has since far surpassed our expectations and has taken a place in the Star Wars online community as THE place for Clone Wars information. Since April 2003, we've had thousands of visitors from numerous countries around the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Australia, Germany and many, many more.
It's because of this growth and popularity and in anticipation of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith that we will be moving from www.starwarz.com/clonewarseu to our new home at theclonewarz.net. T-bone, the owner of starwarz.com, has been a most gracious and generous host and we thank him for giving us a corner of his Universe to house our planet. Though we are moving we will still be part of the starwarz.com family and we will still us galacticsenate.com as our message boards. So you all can continue to discuss the Clone Wars and all other aspects of Star Wars right there.
We've got an exciting year ahead of us! TUCWS has several new interviews and features coming, and as always we will do our best to keep the Timeline and Battles sections up to date. We will probably be implimenting a new layout in the not too distant future as well. These next few months will be very exciting with the continuation of Star Wars: Clone Wars the animated micro-series, Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and all the various events leading up to the film.
I promise you now that this site will not die when Revenge of the Sith hits theaters, or anytime soon after. We're here for the long haul as a resource to Clone Wars readers today and in the future.
So, please bear with us while we make this move. We'd like to thank you for your continued support and feedback is always welcome.
Your friends in the Force,
Paul, Brian, Andrew, Nathan and Jacob
