As one of the first staff members of The Unofficial Clone Wars Site, Brian Gates has been key in jumpstarting the site's content and popularity. He joined TUCWS soon after its inception in early 2003.

Biography

Brian Gates was born a few months before The Empire Strikes Back was released in theaters. He hails from from Georgia and is married with no children. However, he has two dogs: a female named Jade (after Mara Jade Skywalker) and a male named Mace (after Jedi Master Mace Windu).

He is currently a graduate student at the University of Georgia and works as a pharmacy technician to make ends meet.

Brian's favorite Star Wars film is Return of the Jedi, mostly because he remembers seeing it at the movies as a child in kindergarten. His favorite Star Wars character is Obi-Wan Kenobi, particularly the old Obi-Wan from the Original Trilogy.
