Significance in the Clone Wars
The planet Virujansi is home to an old and proud hegemony with many traditions. The planet was taken over by a large task force of Confederation Droids, probably for mining purposes. Shortly afterwards, the Republic sent in their own task force, led by General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. After a six-day battle, they were able to dispatch the entire force and free Virujansi.
