Significance in the Clone Wars
As the Clone Wars raged on, the Republic was forced to look to other industries to grow cloned soldiers. Spaari was known for it's rapid change in industry, due to a fluid retooling system that the native Cranscoc employed. The Republic sent Kinman Doriana to take over the Spaari plants, which he did. Shortly there after, the Trade Federation arrived and sent their own forces down, and a large urban battle began as the Republic fought to take back the plant. The battle ended when a transport supposedly full of Jedi fired on the plant and crashed into it, destroying it and the planet's industry.
