Significance in the Clone Wars
A Separatist-held planet, Brentaal IV succeeded from the Republic shortly after the Clone Wars broke out, after the local leader Shogar Tok rallied his people and succeeded. The Republic and Jedi Council send in Quinlan Vos to clear the way into the planet's forces, where he was captured. A false message went out and the Republic Forces came in, to a higher resistance than expected. During the battle, several Jedi were killed, and the Republic forces were forced to pull out, leaving several Jedi on the ground. Shaak Ti freed Vos, and together with several prisoners, they destroyed the planet's defense grids and allowed the Republic forces to retake the planet. After the battle, the Republic set several governors into power to regular the post-war society on Brentaal VI.
