Before the Clone Wars… Trained on Kamino to become a Clone Commander.
During the Clone Wars… Leader of the Elite 501st Legion, Appo colored his armor with blue stripes. At the end of the Clone Wars, he was led by the newly named Darth Vader to put down the Jedi Rebellion in the Jedi Temple. He led an entire legion of Clone Troopers into the temple, where they killed all inside, and restricted access to outsiders, including fire personnel. He was killed shortly into the attack by Padawan Zett Jukassa.
