Yoda was one of the greatest Jedi Masters in the history of the Jedi. Almost nine-hundred years old, he has trained almost every Jedi in the galaxy in one way or another.

During the Clone Wars…

Month of the Battle of Geonosis: Brought the Clone Army to Geonosis to rescue the Jedi there. Sensed during the battle that Anakin and Obi-Wan were in trouble. Found them lying defeated in Dooku's hanger. Fought Dooku and forced him to flee for his life.

After the Clone Wars…

Yoda wound up stranded on Dagobah where he foresaw that he would train one last Jedi that could tip the balance. Rumor has it that he chased a Dark Jedi to the planet and killed him in a cave there. However, it is likely that Episode 3 will contradict (or confirm) this story.

Three years after the Battle of Yavin, the Jedi he foresaw arrived in the form of Anakin's son, Luke. Reluctantly, Yoda trained the man, and shortly before Skywalker defeated Darth Vader, Yoda died due to old age. He was nine hundred years old.
