Sirrus was in the process of training his apprentice Aubrie Wyn before the Clone Wars broke out. He recommended that Aubrie finish her training with Jedi Master Mace Windu.

During the Clone Wars…

Month 15 ABG: He along with his Padawan and numerous other Jedi were dispatched to Jabiim to deal with the Separtist threat. Soon after he arrived a battle broke out with the Separatist forces. Sirrus along with Obi-Wan Kenobi, an ARC trooper named "Alpha" and several clone troopers were declared dead after an AT-AT they were trying to rescue troops from exploded.
