Before the Clone Wars…

Jafer spent nearly thirty years on the planet Cartao, where he mediated civil disputes and handling minor problems like crime lords and pirates in the surrounding sector. Previous to that, he trained as a Jedi, probably at Coruscant, and earned the rank of Jedi Master.

During the Clone Wars…

Month 12 ABG: Jafer was on Cartao when the Republic forces moved in to take control of the Spaari Plants, the chief industry of Cartao. Shortly after the Republic arrived, the Trade Federation also moved in, and Jafer found himself combating droids as a fierce ground battle raged on. The battle ended when a transport that reportedly contained Jedi crashed into the plant, destroying the factories and the droid control ship. Jafer found himself a hated person and left with the Republic forces.

After the Clone Wars…
