Setting the Stage

The Republic has been battling the Separatists on Drongar for a time and reinforcements were needed. Jedi Knights Choi, Jeisel, and Kai Justiss were sent to aide the Republic forces.

The Mission

While en route to Drongar the Republic Cruiser is attacked by Quarren forces loyal to the Separatists. The Separatists disable the cruiser's engines and board the ship.

Count Dooku along with Sora Bulq and many Quarren soldiers come aboard and capture the Jedi. Dooku instructs Bulq to kill the remaining clone troopers.

Outcome

The Jedi fail to get reinforcements to Drongar and Dooku captures Choi, Kai Justiss, and Jeisel.

The Mission to Antar 4

Setting the Stage

Mace Windu, Tholme, and Quinlan Vos are meeting in Coruscant discussing Vos infiltrating Count Dooku's camp. Vos learns that Jedi Master Shylar, who previously infiltrated Dooku's camp, has not been heard from in two cycles. Windu also warns Vos of Dooku's servants, Sora Bulq, Asajj Ventress, and two former Jedi: Tol Skorr and Kadrian Sey. After long deliberation, they decide Vos should go ahead with the plan. Vos makes for Antar 4, where he has found Dooku's base.

The Mission

Vos arrives to the planet and lands in the outskirts. He meets with some Gotals to gather intelligence and then finds Dooku's castle. He encounters Skorr and Sey and a lightsaber duel ensues. He defeats them and Sora Bulq emerges from the castle doorway. Bulq invites Vos inside to meet with Dooku.

Dooku was discussing plans of allying with Kiffex with Sheyfe Tinté (Quin's great aunt) via hologram, but when Vos enters the chambers Dooku shuts off the connection. Vos and Dooku discuss trust and Dooku instructs Vos to come back the next day. Bulq mentions that Vos has much darkness in him and can be used. Dooku then asks Bulq about Jabiim.

Vos comes back the next day as instructed and Dooku challenges him to a duel. Of course Dooku defeats Vos and then asks Vos to join him on a mission to Tibrin.

Note: The Mission to Tibrin and the Second Mission to The Wheel occur here. Vos then returns to Antar 4 after these missions are complete.

Vos gets back from The Wheel and gives his report. Then Dooku interrogates the captured Master Shylar to learn what she's found out while sneaking around in his camps. Shylar calls Vos a traitor and continues to get tortured. Dooku then tell Vos that they are leaving for Kiffex in the morning to continue negotiations with Sheyfe Tinté regarding placing a secret Confederacy base on Kiffex.

Outcome

Quinlan manages to get into Dooku's headquarters and get assigned a couple of missions to gain Dooku's trust.

The Mission to Tibrin

Key Characters

Setting the Stage

Count Dooku, Quinlan Vos, Sora Bulq, Tol Skorr, and Kadrian Sey arrive on the Ishi-Tib planet of Tibrin to liberate it from the treacherous leader Suribran Tu and bring it under the control of the Confederacy.

The Mission

Dooku claims control of the planet from Suribran, but Suribran wants to come to some type of agreement. Dooku asks Sey and Vos what they think. Sey suggests that Suribran stay the help rule the planet but Vos says that he can't be trusted. Dooku says the same thing of Vos, but agrees with him that Suribran can't be trusted. Dooku decapitates Suribran in one fell stroke with his lightsaber.

Dooku goes to a balcony over looking a large crowd. The cheer him on. Dooku then assigns Vos his first solo mission. He wants Vos to assassinate the Falleen Senator named Zurros who has been playing the Confederacy and the Republic to fill his own pockets. Dooku tells Vos that Zurros is on his way back to Coruscant but can be found on The Wheel

Outcome

The Confederacy gains control of Tibrin and Vos is given his first mission under Dooku.

Second Mission to The Wheel

Key Characters

Quinlan Vos, Zurros, Khaleen Hentz, Count Dooku, Tol Skorr, Kadrian Sey, Tholme, Shylar

Setting the Stage

Khaleen Hentz is sitting in prison on Coruscant muttering to herself about Quinlan Vos when Tholme arrives to "break" her out. Tholme asks her to be a contact person to courier messages to Quin since she won't betray her love. She agrees.

On Tibrin, Count Dooku tells Vos of a Falleen senator named Zurros who is a hindrance to the Confederacy. He commands Vos to kill this senator and bring him his head. Dooku tells Vos that Zurros will stop at The Wheel on his way back to Coruscant.

The Mission

Khaleen "bumps" into Vos on The Wheel and they discuss why Vos hadn't come to rescue her from prison yet. Vos says he's protecting Khaleen by not being involved with her. Of course, Khaleen isn't trying to hear any of that. They kiss. Vos tells her that he's working for Dooku and of his mission to kill Zurros. They then embrace, among other things...

Quinlan then goes off to complete his mission. He tracks down Zurros and chops off his topknot. He videos Zurros begging Count Dooku to forgive him, but doesn't kill the senator like Dooku instructed. Vos then travels back to Antar 4 to report what he had done.

He gives Tol Skorr the topknot of Zurros and Skorr is not happy. He calls Vos incompetent or either disloyal. Vos explains to Dooku why he didn't kill Zurros and Dooku agrees with his explaination. Dooku then tells Vos of a mission to Kiffex.

Khaleen meets with Tholme on Ord Ibanna to tell him what she learned from Vos.

Outcome

Zurros' life is spared, but fear is instilled in him and he is now in the Confederacy's hip pocket. Vos continues to gain Dooku's trust. Khaleen reports what she learns to Tholme.

The Mission to Kiffex

Key Characters

Setting the Stage

Count Dooku has been communicating with Sheyfe Tinté for a while, trying to convince her to allow him have a secret base on Kiffex. She is obviously reluctant. A meeting is eventually arrangeed for Dooku to meet with her on the planet to further discuss the terms.

The Mission

Dooku, Quinlan Vos, Tol Skorr, and Kadrian Sey arrive on Kiffex to meet with Tinté. Dooku makes a final offer to her and she turns it down. He commands his servants to kill everyone in sight! Tinté commands her guards to capture the dark Jedi or kill them. Dooku lets out a can of whip-ass and Force fries all the Guardians while Vos, Skorr, and Sey chop them up with their lightsabers.

They wreak havoc and win the fight, then Vos, Skorr, and Sey get close to Tinté. Skorr and Sey both wantsto kill her, but Vos jumps in. Sey threatens Vos to hurry up or she'll have to kill Tinté herself. That was the last threat she would ever make - Vos severed her torso completely in half. He runs off with Tinté on his shoulder and Dooku says Vos's true colors are finally revealed. Dooku tells Skorr to finish up where they were and he will go after Vos himself.

Tinté doesn't believe Vos wants to help her and she talks bad about the Jedi. Vos feels that his cover is now blown. Dooku then arrives and tells Vos that he knew it was a ruse the entire time. He knew that everything was Tholme's plan. Dooku and Vos duel again.

Dooku is defeating Vos easily and then starts to tell him about Tinté. Dooku tells him that Tinté was responsible for Vos losing his parents. Vos uses his psychometric powers - amplified by the dark side of the Force - to "read" Tinté as though she were an object and finds out the truth himself. She admits that she allowed Vos' parents to be killed and showed no remorse. Vos then kills her in cold blood. He has now fully turned to the dark side...or has he?

Outcome

Kiffex is taken by the Confederacy. Quinlan Vos kills Kadrian Sey, learnes of his great-aunt, Sheyfe Tinté's treachery, and kills her, too. He has fully embraced the dark side.
